Wild Ideas Bearikade Canister's are made of a lightweight carbon fiber composite. Humans can open them easily with a coin or screwdriver blade, however, animals cannot! The Blazer is a mid-sized canister (750 cu in) which falls between the smaller Weekender canister (650 cu in) and the oversize Expedition (900 cu in). United StatesThis was the perfect bear canister for me. I don't usually hike trails that require a canister, so renting one allowed me to reuse and save costs. The pickup process was easy because the store has great hours, and they were accommodating when I had a friend nearby who was able to drop it off. 100% would use this process and canister again when hiking the JMT or other HST.
